Vessel Tracking Agreement Form

BigOceanData is now working with Maersk Line to optimize the vessel tracking system for their internal systems. Together with a comprehensive satellite AIS data network, exactEarth will make available to MOFAD 450 Class B AIS transceptors installed on inshore fishing vessels that are tracked by satellite using exactEarth`s exactTraxTM technology. In order to tackle illegal, unregulated and unreported fishing in Ghana`s exclusive economic zone, MOFAD provided this small vessel tracking solution to access detailed positions and vessel movement analysis services through the exactEarth ShipView™Plattform platform. exactEarth ShipView will be complemented by an SOS alert system to assist the Ghanaian government in its “Safety of Life at Sea” initiative to help its fishermen. exactEarth will work with a local partner and academic institutions in Ghana to provide analyses and reports of vessel movements, to support policy decision-making and involve the next generation of maritime experts in coastal surveillance to protect and preserve Ghana`s fish stocks in the future. Pole Star`s ship tracking service uses mixed satellite tracking technology (including Inmarsat-C, IsatData Pro and AIS) to provide reliable information in near real-time. Our systems display event notifications, customizable areas (including ECAs, EEZs, high-risk areas, environmental and regulatory areas), weather layers, and historical traces. “This is an important strategic asset and a big step forward for our Small Vessel Pursuit initiative,” said Peter Mabson, CEO of exactEarth. “MOFAD needs a high-performance, reliable and compliant marine surveillance solution to protect their critical fishing industry, and our tracking functions for small vessels will be a critical part of helping them achieve this goal. This reflects the growing possibilities offered to our small and large ship tracing solutions and our reputation for having the first satellite AIS solution on the market. About exactEarth Ltd.exactEarth is a global maritime data provider for vessel traceability and maritime situation awareness solutions.
