In a world of sin
can I be forgiven
for not wanting to sin?
In a world on forgiveness
would I be just excess?
Maybe I should give in.
Many years now I’ve walked alone
and I fear my soul is not my own
why do I go on?
Many times I’ve fallen shy
and I wonder why I even try
Now I’m just waiting for the dawn.
